Day 1-   San Jose – Hotel Herradura

Participants arrive throughout the afternoon & evening. Transfer to the Hotel Herradura, recognized as one of San Jose’s top hotels. Orientation followed by welcome dinner at hotel.

Day 2-   San Jose – Golf - Hotel Herradura

Breakfast at hotel then tour of INBioparque, a park featuring Costa Rica's ecosystems: the Central Valley Forest, the Humid Forest, the tropical Dry Forest, and the Wetland. At INBioparque you may find approximately 51 bird species, 583 native plant species, as well as mammals and reptiles in a.m. Golf at Cariari Country Club in p.m. (D)

Day 3-   San Jose – Tour - Hotel Herradura

Breakfast at hotel then begin tour -- Poas Volcano and Cloud Forest – La Paz Waterfalls and Hummingbird Gallery - Lunch at La Paz Waterfall Gardens – Doka Coffee Factory Tour, Costa Rica’s oldest coffee factory-- Drive back to San Jose. (B&L)

Day 4-   San Jose – Golf – Hotel Herradura

Enjoy breakfast and then depart for Parque Valle Del Sol Golf Course. Tracy May designed this picturesque 18-hole track, which offers rolling wide fairways and receptive greens. The course is filled with colorful flowers, mature trees and has great views of the central valley. (B, L & D)

Day 5-   San Jose to Playa Conchal, Guanacaste – Tour - Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort            

Enjoy breakfast and then depart for the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, traveling to the province of Guanacaste. We’ll pass through several small villages and make stops along the way. Mid-way through the trip we’ll enjoy the Corobici River Rafting experience. Except for a few riffles, this gentle river has no whitewater. In addition, trained guides row the boat - there is no need to paddle; participants can just relax and enjoy the scenery on the river! The river is a bird watchers paradise and Howler and white faced monkeys, 3 species of Iguanas, Otters, Coatis and small, Cayman Crocodiles all make their home along the shores of the Corobici. After the river rafting experience we travel on to the Paradisus Playa Conchal All-Inclusive All Suite Beach & Golf Resort, the largest and most opulent resort in the country, offering the highest levels of distinguished service. It is located in the northwest section of the country, bordering the Pacific Ocean. The area is known for its spectacular beaches. Conchal is considered by many to be the most beautiful white-sand beach in Costa Rica. After the five-hour bus ride no golf has been scheduled but anyone who wishes to play a practice round is welcome to do so. (B, L & D)

Day 6- Playa Conchal, Guanacaste - Golf - Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort

This immaculate layout is a showcase that is enhanced by breathtaking glimpses of the Pacific Coast. Play 18 and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. Take the plunge into water sports like snorkeling, diving, shore fishing, sea kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing from Playa Conchal's legendary white-sand shore. At night, a spin at the casino's roulette tables caps the evening entertainment for some, or visit our discos where, Playa Conchal keeps you entertained every night with theme parties, stage shows, and live entertainment. Day 7-  Playa Conchal, Guanacaste – Free Day - Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort

Today is a free day to relax and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. Some may want to play more golf, others may consider taking a sightseeing tour arranged by the resort travel desk. Tours include: Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Sport Fishing and Horseback Riding. In addition to these tours you have all the amenities of the finest resort in Costa Rica. (Today’s Golf & Tours are not included in your package price and will cost extra.) (B, L & D)

Day 8-   Playa Conchal, Guanacaste – Golf – Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort

Enjoy a round at Hacienda Pinella Golf Course. This coastal course is built on what used to be a cattle ranch. You’ll enjoy the wide fairways and will need them, as the constant sea breeze will make for a challenging round. After golf enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. This evening we will enjoy a Farewell dinner at the resort. (B, L & D)

Day 9- Depart resort for the Liberia Airport (about 1.5 hrs. away) and your flights back to the US.
