We begin with an early breakfast aboard the Scotia Prince and arrive in the port town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia at 8:00AM. Once we clear through customs and disembark, we’ll drive north along the coast to Digby where we find the Pines Resort. The Pines Resort offers guests “a world of casual elegance, in the tradition of the grand hotels of yesteryear.” The Pines Resort has been welcoming guests to this Norman - Style Chateau overlooking the Bay of Fundy since 1929. In addition to being awarded a “Gold Medal” by Golf Ranking Magazine, the Pines is recognized as one of Canada’s top Golf Resorts. The drive to the Pines only takes about an hour so we’ve arranged tee times to begin at about 11:00AM. The Pines Golf Course is recognized as one of Canada’s finest. It’s designed by Stanley Thompson, Canada’s most famous course architect, and has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments. That evening we’ll have dinner at the resort.  (B & D)

Then we’ll continue to the coastal village of Mahone Bay and check into Oak Island Resort and Spa. This four star resort, located 35 minutes west of Peggy’s Cove, offers breath taking views of Mahone Bay and legendary Oak Island. Once you check in, relax as this will be our home for the next four nights. You are own tonight for dinner, you can try a local restaurant on the drive back from Peggy’s Cove or the resort’s La Vista Restaurant. (B)

We’ll begin our day with breakfast at Oak Island Resort then travel to Lunenburg, settled in 1753, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We start with a walking tour of Lunenburg, followed a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Then that afternoon we have a special treat, we will board a traditional working 42’ lobster boat and enjoy an authentic Lobstermen Tour! You can help catch a live Nova Scotia lobster, witness an ongoing scientific lobster study, and share in Lunenburg's fishing heritage. We sail to Eastern Points Reef, where we visit the seals and a variety of seabirds. We’ll meet and enjoy spending time with a crew that makes its living from the sea.
